"Only You " Deepth's first track mixes four-on-the-floor, dark soundscapes with ambient overtones. "I Can See Inside You " A creative, blended song... sliced into unique and often explosive parts for your listening pleasure. - 2 tracks
BuyBasilar Records fifth release comes from Manouvre, bringing you three tracks of lush bass music for your ears. Never Should - Right from the start brings you a minimal yet vibrant dancefloor track for your listening pleasure. Wondering about you - brings the mood down a bit, maintaining the neon-like feel with a touch of nostalgia for good measure. Odd Twist - the proverbial "icing on the cake", this track puts us in an interesting, complex soundscape to finish off. - 4 tracks
BuyBasilar Records forth release comes from Claudio Crispo, bringing you four tracks of lush glitch electronica. Inside (Original Mix) with delicately structured melodies, floating bells over a crying synth, mid track the pace picks up, melodies are dropped while the track races along. Bring To Mind begins with what sounds like sos calls, merging into a stabbing synth line over a driving kick, picks up pace mid way sprinting to the finish line. Vanishing Point brings the tone down, laid back feel with airy crunchy synths, very IDM-ish, close to some early Warp, very nice indeed. Inside (Club Mix), floating bells over crying synths, pulsating pad sounds with a progressive feel to the track. - 3 tracks
BuyLost Transmission, a three track EP of melodic, minimalist tech house from Quino. The opening track Up to You, beat level slowly builds up to sit under lush floaty chords, with an increase throughout of shooting/stabbing metallic fxs. Next up, the title track, Lost Transmission, is grittier then the previous, with it's ruff rolling bass under wonky melodies next to delicate floaty Sound FX's, mid track the beat picks up introducing faint like chanting vocals til end. Final track, Memories, hearing distant melodies with up front sound FX's, while a unrestrained groove creeps in throughout, melodies dash forwards and back in space over a plod along bass line pushing things along smoothly. Quino's minimalistic experiments contribute to the well been of the floor. - 3 tracks
BuyBasilar Records second release comes from Diarmo, a three track ep mixing Techno/House, maybe some Bass. First up ‘His Days Green’ a well structured contribution to the floor. At the starting pistol the rhythm section paces along rapidly, racing under sliced/pitched vocal shots, moving alongside delicate, catchy melodies that hover over layered pad sounds. Next ‘Age of Wonders’ slightly poppy, waaa, bass style, than the other two. As a standalone track not poppy at all. Chanting vocal edits, constant cymbal hits, both fighting for presence. Simultaneously vocal and cymbal pick up the tracks pace and drop it back down again and again... quite catchy this one. Final track ‘The bEnds’ lies on the minimal techno side more than the other two, with a solid structured bass and kick, sitting under advancing layered synths that hover alongside delicately structured melodies panning around your head, while crisp handclaps creep in pushing things along smoothly. - 3 tracks
BuyBasilar Records first release comes from Diarmo and commences with the title track, 'Amber', bringing light, floating, almost haunting pads, before squelchy synths creep in, while crisp handclaps move things along smoothly. Next up and also contributing to the 'floor the melodic and minimalist 'Its cold inside'. 'Suitable for…' brings the tone down several octaves, with delicately structured melodies, over a unrestrained groove. Amber EP has a well structured smoothness and Diarmo has taken a minimalistic approach to this emotive three-track release.
